In 4th August 2022, IIIT East and Southeast Asia had organized a Workshop for Translation and Editing in Malay Language. This workshop was a continuation from the workshop that was done in 29th June 2022 in Sakinah Resort, Janda Baik. It was conducted by Prof Emeritus Dr. Abdullah Hasan, a prominent Malay Language expert in Malaysia. He had been teaching language in several universities such as IIUM, UPSI dan UM. He currently headed PTS Publication, a publication company that specializes in publishing Malay Language books.

This workshop was attended by 15 participants from various background, This participants will become the core group of translators for future IIIT publication especially books that will be translated from English or Arabic to Malay.
